A grip that won’t let go: adaptability and grip for industrial pneumatic manipulators

A new video is now available on Vuototecnica’s YouTube channel, showing the 08 210 60 vacuum cups mounted on an industrial pneumatic manipulator as they securely grip and move a multi-layer wooden platform for vans.

As you can see from the images, the soft bellows ensure excellent adaptation to the gripping surface, while the internal support surface stabilizes the load during lifting and translation.

Of particular note is the additional soft gripping lip on the support surface, which provides a double seal on smooth surfaces such as the wooden panels in the video.

The synergistic result is a grip with less vibration. By placing the suction cup on the surface and activating the vacuum, the platform is pulled towards it, lifts off the floor, and adheres perfectly to the interior of the van. The positive aspect is that it can be moved in any direction with maximum safety for easy installation.

The aluminum support of the suction cup, with a threaded central hole for attachment to the automatic system and connection to the vacuum, allows installation without adhesives.

Vuototecnica provides solutions to leading manufacturers of industrial manipulators for the woodworking, automotive, and other industries, where the reliability, adaptability, and stability of each individual piece are requirements for simplifying sometimes complex processes.
